So many people are dependant on external validation before they can go ahead with a decision or a life choice. I too have been at this point but overcame it through the simple realization that life is not a dress rehearsal. Time is running out and I must go for my dreams no matter how trivial or "rediculous" others may deem them to be! If I don't do this, one morning I may roll out of bed and look in the mirror only to see an old man; an old man who once had dreams but was afraid to go after them out of fear that he would be rejected by his peers; an old man who just needed to be shown love and given some encouragement (but wasn't) by those who claimed they loved him, an old man who now realizes that his peers and the people who loved him are now quite dead and forgotten by the rest of the world; an old man who now realizes that he wasted his time and that the chances for living the life he wanted and ultimately deserved had completely passed him by!!!!
